The emotion code® is a simple, yet powerful energy healing technique created by Dr. Bradley Nelson used to discover and release trapped emotions (emotional baggage). The emotion code® uses the subconscious mind and muscle testing to release trapped emotions one by one.
A trapped emotion is a ball of vibrating negative energy that becomes stuck in the body when the normal emotional process is interrupted and does not get processed properly.
The processing of emotions can become interrupted when the event is too overwhelming, we are tired, rundown, sick or when we feel like we can't express our emotions in that moment.
As it can't be processed then and there the subconscious mind stores the emotion in the body to process later, but it becomes trapped in the body.
Emotions can be helpful, to keep us safe, identity our needs & provide lessons, however later they can start to block our natural flow of energy and have a negative impact our physical, mental and emotional state.
Some reasons for trapped emotions include
When trapped emotions build up in the body, they can start to distort our energy field, blocking our natural flow of energy affecting us physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. When trapped emotions stay in the body the subconscious mind will try and get our attention in the way of symptoms such as.
They essentially sabotage our efforts to create and live the life we truly desire
Releasing trapped emotions has never been simpler with Emotion Code therapy. Your subconscious mind serves as a storage bank that records all your memories and emotional experiences throughout your life, making it possible to identify and heal trapped emotions that can cause imbalances to the body. Using muscle testing (kinesiology), we can communicate with the subconscious to pinpoint the exact emotion, age, and reason for its existence. By swiping a magnet down the governing meridian, a channel that allows energy to flow through the body as per Chinese medicine, it is possible to release the trapped emotion, as the electromagnetic energy of the magnet attracts the negative energy of the imbalance, thus releasing it from the body.
WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER AN ENERGY CODE SESSION
Trapped emotions released during the session are released immediately from your energy field, but it can take the body weeks or to re-balance and integrate the change.

1. Drinking plenty of water – Hydration is important to support your body through this process to allow energetic re- balance. It can also help reduce and alleviate symptoms of tiredness and headaches.
2. Rest – Be kind to yourself, listen to your body and allow yourself to rest if possible while your energy body re-
balances.
3. Eat Healthy – Eating healthy while limiting your intake of alcohol, sugary and processed foods to allow your body to integrate and re-balance.
4. Grounding – Connect with the earth bare foot, time out in nature or swimming in the ocean are great ways to recharge your energy and to support your re-balancing process.In
5. Meditate - Incorporating meditation into your routine can boost mood, promote calmness and cultivate a sense of
presence and gratitude.

WHAT ELSE CAN HELP THE REBALANCING OF ENERGIES?
It is important to be patient with your body and understand that healing can have many different layers and it can take time to unravel them all to get to your desired outcome. Be patient and kind with yourself, trust that your body can heal itself supporting you back to balance and harmony.
Journaling is a great way to keep track of your growth. It can be helpful in noticing the subtle changes that occur over your healing journey. Journaling can be beneficial to reflect on what “triggers” you have and unwanted feelings/reactions you have in your day-to-day life that you would like to work on during your sessions.
You may experience “echoes” of emotions released in your session. For example, if “anger” was released you may find that you feel angrier more easily that you normally would during the process time. Trust and listen to your body. If you feel like crying, let it out. If you feel like screaming let it out. Allowing ourselves to feel and release what we are feeling really helps us to move forward. This practice can also help us reduce future occurrences of “trapped emotions”.
Practicing gratitude can really help you to increase your positive emotions and improve your overall mood.
It can be done by simply writing down or stating (aloud or in your mind) things you are grateful for every morning before you start your day. This can help bring you into the present moment and allow you to start you day from a positive mindset. It can take practice, but it is well worth the reward.
Dr Nelson (creator of the emotion code) estimates that the average person collects 300-400 trapped emotions.
How many sessions you will need depends on the individual and how many issues or goals you would like to work on. Some issues may clear in one session, other issues can take multiple sessions. A typical session releases anywhere from 8-12 trapped emotions. Healing and releasing trapped emotions can be like peeling an onion, it may require releasing one layer at a time until you see an improvement in your core issue.
A Heart wall Clearing can take 2-3 sessions – generally people can have up to 25 trapped emotions layered around their heart wall. Although, it is not unusual to have more than 50 trapped emotions making up a heart wall, if you have experienced a lot of traumas, or been through a lot of stressful experiences.
